Oneida Nation Homelands - The Golf Dome at the Turning
Stone Sportsplex is a hub of off-season activity, with a full-
service Pro Shop, clinics, demo days and some friendly
competition.
Named among the “Top 10 Golf Domes in America” by Golf
Range Magazine, the Turning Stone facility houses 40 hitting
station, a chipping area and a putting green. It’s the indoor
home of the Turning Stone Golf Academy with PGA
professionals available for individual lessons as well as one-
hour clinics throughout the week.
In mid- January, the popular Simulated Winter Golf Series
warms up with ten weeks of competition on virtual versions of
some of the world’s finest courses including Pinehurst,
Pebble Beach, Bethpage Black, St. Andrews and Turning
Stone’s own Atunyote Golf Club. The two simulators, each
offering 38 courses, are also available for casual play and
practice.
January also marks the return of Play Golf America Days.
Every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting Jan. 21
through the month of March, the Golf Dome will host free
clinics and lessons from PGA professionals, family/kids
programs and demonstrations of the latest equipment from
leading manufacturers.
The Golf Dome opens daily at 8 a.m., closing at 8 p.m.
Sunday through Thursday and at 9 p.m. on Friday and
Saturday. Half hour and hourly rates are available as well as
Adult and Junior Memberships.
The Sportsplex also features four indoor tennis courts, four
outdoor tennis courts, two racquetball courts, locker room
facilities and a café. The tennis and racquetball facilities are
staffed by certified professionals who organize a full slate of
clinics, mixers and other special events.
