NEW HARTFORD - Lauren Steates-Cupp shot a 3-over par 75
Friday to win the Syracuse District Golf Association Meet at
Yahnundasis Golf Club.
Steates-Cupp edged Carina Watkins by a stroke. Sue Sims finished
three strokes back to place third.
Watkins is fresh off winning the New York State Women's Senior
Amateur on August 16-17 at Clifton Springs Country Club.
