Range held a local qualifier for
the RE/MAX World Long Drive
Championship. There were two
Open Division qualifiers and one
in the Senior Division. Tom
Stevens (Canastota) 315 yards
and Robert Stewart
(LaGrangeville) 308 qualified in
the open division. Paul Zucker
(Wayne, N.J.) qualified in the
Senior Division with a best of
278. On June 12, Clinton's Ty
Moore qualified with a 303 yard
drive. All qualifiers advanced to
compete at the Regional Final
on Aug 7-10 at Oakland Beach
Golf Club in Conneaut Lake, Pa.
-Brimfield View Driving Range
is hosting a 'Driving Out Cancer'
Fundraiser from Noon to 5 p.m.
on Sunday, July 25. $1 per ball.
Long Drive, closest to the pin,
closest to the flag, raffles and
prizes. Proceeds go to the
Cullen Kleftis Memorial Fund.

and girls ages 6-13.
*Taught by PGA Professional Ruth
Weydig.
*Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9-10
a.m. for the entire month of July.
*$120 covers the cost for 5 lessons at
Brimfield View and 3 times out at Heron
Creek Golf Course.
*Must have own clubs.
*Limited to the first 15 entrants.

qualifying for the RE/MAX World Long Drive
Championship at Brimfield View Driving
Range on June 12. Moore's winning drive
was 303 yards on a cool and wet day.
Moore advanced to compete at the
Regional Final on Aug 7-10 at Oakland
Beach Golf Club in Conneaut Lake, Pa.
There will be a second qualifying at
Brimfield View on Sunday, August 1 from
Noon to 6 p.m. For more information visit
